Favorite Audit Tip
The prescriptions filled today become the focus of next years’ audits.

I founded the Pharmacy Audit Assistance Service (PAAS) in 1993 with the overarching goal to build advocacy; to help community pharmacies by becoming strong defenders of their dealings with Prescription Benefits Programs.

I have been in the pharmacy industry since 1966; starting at Walker Drugs – a little corner drugstore. After I finished pharmacy school in 1973, I went to work for Perry Drugs, eventually working my way up to Executive Vice President. I left Perry Drugs in 1987 to start a consulting business which eventually grew into PAAS and Compliant Pharmacy Alliance (CPA), founded simultaneously in 1993. I retired from CPA in 2014 to focus my energy solely on PAAS. In 2009, PAAS expanded our services to include an FWA Compliance Program. In 2013, we added the HIPAA Compliance Program.

We learn from every audit, adding to our knowledge and intelligence. I encourage you to utilize our services to their fullest in order to defend yourself against unfair audits.
